Conclusion
suffragettes – most important – forced government quick decision decisions/responses
Suffragists – important – first pressure group inspired many – not as important as suffragette – many members left suffragists for suffragettes
War effort – important – improved wages – not as important as suffragette – efforts forgotten quickly after war
changing attitude – important – rather than thought of as incompetent/incapable, being educated – not as important as suffragette – still limited and long way to go
