what was the Munich Agreement about?
Britain, France, Italy agreed to give sudetenland to Germany in exchange for a promise of no more invasion.
- this was shortlived
How did the league’s failures impact the world?
The failure of the league against Italy’s invasions and Japan’s invasion showed other powers that the LoN wouldn’t do anything if they were to violate rules.
Appeasement and it’s consequences
Britain and France gave Germany what they wanted in hopes that they would stop and they would avoid war. also so that they would have enough time to re arm.
But Hitler stretched it too far and his true intentions were revealed.

-non aggression pact between SU and the Nazi
-secretly allowed Germany to invade Poland with no SU intervention

Why did war break out?

-Hitler underestimated Brit and France’s willingness to resist
- British-French guarantees to Poland and Hitler’s thinking that the allies would not act let to the outbreak of war.
