What was Rossetti’s connection to Jean ingelow?

A

Jean contributed poetry and tales to magazines under the pseudonym ‘Orris’ as a young girl. Her work is often compared to Rossetti’s and other contemporary authors such as Browning. Rossetti mentioned Ingelow’s work in some of her letters to other female writers. Rossetti knew of Ingelow’s work and was impressed by it.
