why does urbanisation happen?

what is density?
This is the number of things such as people, animals, buildings in a certain area

Migration also causes cities to grow as people move into cities in search for better opportunities, lifestyle and employment.

when people resettle within a country e.g. when rural residents move into the city.
what is external migration
External migration is when people move to other countries.

motivate people to leave their place of residence in rural/ country areas

what is a synoptic chart?
- A synoptic chart shows places of equal air pressure on a map.
- Air pressure is simply the weight of air pressing down on earth
- is measured in hectopascals (hPa).
why is it important to know aspect?
It is important to know aspect for agriculture and settlement (housing) patterns.
