Can you write notes while taking the test?
A
Yes, you can take notes on scratch paper (provided by the test center) throughout the test. If you need more scratch paper, just ask for it. If you’re taking the Home Edition, you can take notes using a small desktop whiteboard OR on a piece of paper inside a transparent sheet protector.

Can you take a break during the test?
A
There’s a required 10-minute break after the Listening Section. If you need to take another break, it is allowed, but you’ll lose the time.
