A soliloquy is a speech in a play in which an actor speaks to himself or herself and to the audience, rather than to another actor.
What are tragic protagonists
Tragic protsgonists are the main characters of a tragic play such as Romeo or Juliet
What is an antagonist
An antagonist is an oppenent or enemy that the characters have to face such as Tybalt
What is an extended metaphor
An extended metaphor is a very detailed metaphor
What is hubris
Hubris is arrogant pride
What is unrequited love
Unrequited love is loving somebody that doesn’t love you back
What is dramatic irony
Dramatic irony is when the character does not know something that the audience does
What is a monologue
A monologue is a long speech which is spoken by one person
What does it mean when you are impentuous
When you are impentuous, you act quickly and suddenly without thinking or being careful
What does it mean when something is volatile
A situation that is volatile is likely to chnage suddenly and unexpectedly
