The change of religion from Catholic to Protestant in many European countries lead by Martin Luther, a German monk in the 16th century. Protestant meaning people who protest and reformation meaning to form again.

A German monk who lead the protestant reformation after writing 95 theses claiming the church was corrupt.

They were corrupt
