Militarism means that the army and military forces are given a high profile by the government

All the others felt obliged to increase their army as a balance of power.

because Germany was a great military figure and had competition with France.

An alliance is an agreement made between two or more countries to give each other help if needed.

Imperialism is when a country takes over new lands or countries and make them subject to their rule

Strong supporter of the of the rights and interests of one’s country
