What is the point?
It is rephrasing the topic. Introductory sentence. It works with link. One sentence.
What is the evidence?
The information that supports your point. This includes quotes, incidents and examples. Start with for example, this is demonstrated, from my own knowledge, this is supported by… After explain and repeat
What is the explanation?
What effect does this evidence have on your stance and how important it is. Starts with this means that, it can therefore be argued that, this suggests that, this shows that, this leads me to believe.
What is the link?
Connects with the point. It is rephrasing it. Start with therefore, hence, thus
What is a Eulogy?
Formal speech that prasies a person who has died. Makes deceased sound a lot more impressive. Accolade
What are the six steps of writing a eulogy?
- Decide on the tone
- Consider the audience
- Briefly introduce yourself
- State basic information about the deceased
- You specific examples to describe the deceased
- Be chrisp, clear and concise

- Skip a line
- The recipient name with Mr, Ms, Mrs
What do you put as the subject in an email?
Put keyword suggesting what you’re writing about. It helps the reader decide the priority
How do you write the salutation?
Use a proper salutation. Address the recipient by the name they prefer. This includes the persons title (Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr) with their last name. Proceed with dear.
How do you do the introduction on an email?
Be concise and clear. State purpose in the first paragraph. Avoid flowery language or long words. Keep the email short and to the point
What is the body in the email?
Main part of the email. Use shorter, clear and logical paragraphs. To state your business. Details of why you are writing the email. Should be more than one paragraph
What is the conclusion in an email?
Suggest action you would like to see taken
What is using the right tone in an email?
Use formal tone. Avoid slang or Jang, contractions and words such as good and nice. Be polite and respectful even if you are complaining. End with ‘yours sincerely.’ Skip line for a signature. Name
