What was the Schlieffen plan and why it failed
The Schlieffen plan made by Alfred Von Schlieffen. The plan was there tactical solution to stop fighting a war on 2 fronts with France and Russia. Then the plan was to make France surrender quickly so then they could focus on Russia. The Germans underestimated the French power and couldn’t make them surrender so they had to fight a war on 2 fronts. The Western front and the Eastern front.

17th Feb 1915 - 9th Jan 1916, Turkey, the Turks won, the triple entente wanted to weaken the ottoman empire so they could take control of the Turkish straights. it was very unsuccessful for Britain
