A

the battle of hexam on the 15th may 1464 , somerset advanced toward tyne valley
where somerset and his men were camped low to the ground. When montagus men arrived the lancs were forced to take up a defensive position with there back to the tyne, Montagu’s men smashed into the lanc line and it collapsed survivors fled from the field
