UK is made up of:
- England
- Scotland
- Wales
- Northern Ireland
- Official name is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Great Britain is:
- Scotland
- England
- Wales
Crown dependencies:
- Channel Islands
- Isle of Man
- these have their own governments and are linked with UK but are NOT part of it
Overseas territories:
- St Helena
- Falkland Islands
- these are also linked to UK but are not part of it
- The UK is governed by parliament sitting in Westminster
- Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland also have their own governments and assemblies that have devolved powers in certain areas
