HPV vaccine
A
- 3 doses up to age 26 for women and up to 21 for men
- up to 26 for men who have sex with men
- recommended for all boys and girls starting at age 11

A
- 2 doses for anybody who doesn’t have documentation of 2 varicella vaccines in lifetime or who hasn’t had chicken pox
- even if they have had shingles they should still get it

- All adults age 65 or older

- Residents of nursing homes
- All adults who are diabetic, chronic lung disease, chronic CV disease, renal, nephrotic syndrome, liver, alcoholism, Functional or an atomic aspenia
- 5 years after first dose, re dose people with chronic renal failure, nephrotic syndrome, functional or an atomic asplenia

A
- All people age 6 months or older should have an annual vaccine
- Age 65 or older may opt for the high dose vaccine

A
- age 21 then every 3 years to age 65. If over 30 can opt to do every 5 with HPV
- not recommended after 65
- not recommended for hysterectomy with cervix removal unless high grade precancerous lesion or cervical cancer
- Not recommended screening for HPV alone or in combination with PAP smear before age 30

A
- AAFP - begin at age 50 then every 2 years until 75
- American Cancer Association - start at 40 then yearly

- puncture - if booster wasn’t in last 5 years
- once per pregnancy (around 32-36 weeks)
