Sacramento. It is the state capital of California.
Name the four hemispheres of the earth.
Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern. Note: All four end with “ern.”
What part of a map explains what the map’s symbols mean?
Key. Other parts of a map are: title, scale, and compass rose or grid.
Is the Tropic of Cancer north or south of the equator?
North. The Tropic of Capricorn is south. Memory tool: they are in alphabetical order if reading from north to south.

Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic.
