Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
An act that allows for the filing of charges of pay discrimination based on the timing of every unequal paycheck that was paid to, instead of from the start of the unequal treatment, effectively making the statute of limitations much longer

The first significant piece of legislation providing civil rights protection for people with disabilities
