What is the function of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)?
stimulates cells in ovaries, develops into follicles- cell maturation
What is the function of Adrenocorticotrophic Hormone (ACTH)?
stimulates adrenal cortex, production of glucorticoids, cortisol and corticosterone
What is the function of Somatotrophin (GH)- (growth hormone)?
regulates ephiyseal growth and protein production, controls energy used within body
What is the function of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)?
stimulates thyroid gland, secretes T4/T3, thyroxine stimulates metabolic rate- chemical reactions
What is the function of Luteinising Hormone (LH)?
stimulates ovulation and formation of corpus luteum

stimulates interstitial cells, leydig cells- secrets teosterone
What is the function of Prolactin?
development of mammary glands, secretion of milk
