Weather is the condition of the bottom layer of the atmosphere.

What is rotation?
Rotation is an object spinning on its own axis.
What is revolution?
Revolution is an object spinning around another objects axis.
What are two important factors of climate?
Two important factors of climate are elevation and latitude.
What is convection?
Convection is warm air rising which causes it to condense. (This eventually makes clouds)
What is precipitation?
Precipitation is condensed moisture in the atmosphere falling back to the ground.
What is continental climate?
Continental climate is the climate of the middle of a continent.
What are microclimates?
Microclimates are city sized climate areas.
What is an ecosystem?
An ecosystem is the interaction between plants, animals, and the environment.
What is a biome?
A biome is a type of ecosystem.
What are the characteristics of a rainforest?
Rainforests get 90+ inches of rain, and are close to the equator.
What are the characteristics of a coniferous forest?
Coniferous forests have cone shaped trees, and most of the trees have needles.
What are the characteristics of a mid-latitude forest?
Mid-latitude forests have rounder trees and have thicker leaves.
What are tropical grasslands?
Tropical grasslands are savannahs.
