Can programs be run on HDD or SSD if not where and why?
No they are only stored here they are transferred to RAM to be run.
What is the bootstrap loader?
The bootstrap loader is a small program that loads the operating system
Where does the term bootstrap loader come from?
Comes from the term “pull up by your bootstraps”
