United Nations
an international organization of countries set up in 1945, in succession to the League of Nations, to promote international peace, security, and cooperation.
Declaration of Human Rights
a United Nations document approved on December 10, 1948, by the General Assembly, affirming the rights of all human beings.

refugee
a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster:
Holocaust
