Regulates use and manufacture of veterinary drugs
Safety, Quality, Efficacy- safe for patient to take/ no harm/ level of quality- made from reliable source/ drugs has intended purpose

Surveillance of drug residues in food
Register places to sell animal medicines

Set out rules by which veterinary medicines are regulated including; development, production, marketing or distribution of veterinary medicine
