rickets - children
osteomalacia - adults

night blindness and increased susceptibility to disease
deficiency of Vitamin E
not considered a problem - only occurs in people with severe fat malabsorption and rare genetic disorders
Deficiency of vitamin K
caused by secondary conditions like malabsorption or impaired gut synthesis
common in babies
Toxicity of Vitamin D
Hyperglycaemia - too much glucose
toxicity of vitamin E
At very high levels it may interfere with vitamin A absorption
