Vit A
Xerophthalmia (abnormal dryness of the conjunctiva and cornea of the eye, with inflammation and ride formation)
Vit B1 = THIAMINE
Beriberi = 2 types: wet and dry Wet = CV affected, short breath and rapid HR Dry = paralysis of lower legs, loss of sensation, tingling, confusion)
+Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (neurological disorder, doesn’t affect Wernicke’s area but causes confusion, appear drunk , can’t walk, can become Korsakoff’s syndrome if untreated = short term memory loss)
Vit B2
Angular stomatis (inflammation of corner of mouth) Cheilitis (inflammation of lips, or around mouth, swelling/redness of tongue)
Vit B6
Polyneuropathy (disease affecting peripheral nerves on both sides of body)

Pernicious anaemia (lowered RBC) SCDC (subacute combined degeneration = metabolic disorder of spinal cord)

Scurvy (early symptoms = weakness, fatigue, sore arms and legs, later symptoms = decreased RBC, gum disease, bleeding from skin)

Nerve and muscle damage that results in loss of feeling in the arms and legs, loss of body movement control, muscle weakness, and vision problems
