Vit B1 = THIAMINE

A
Beriberi = 2 types: wet and dry
Wet = CV affected, short breath and rapid HR
Dry = paralysis of lower legs, loss of sensation, tingling, confusion)

+Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (neurological disorder, doesn’t affect Wernicke’s area but causes confusion, appear drunk , can’t walk, can become Korsakoff’s syndrome if untreated = short term memory loss)
