Paris peace accords were finally settled on 27th of January 1973. They agreed on an immediate cease-fire the complete withdrawal of all US forces within 60 days free elections in South Vietnam.

March 1973 the last US soldier left Vietnam they now had no financial aid from Congress. The south regime was corrupt and unpopular. The next president, Gerald Ford could not convince Congress to support the south so south were isolated and weak cease. Fire lasted less than two years. 1974 PAVN invade Sagan fell in 1975
