those with egg allergy causing anaphylaxis
what is the flu vaccine process?
when do volume changes occur?
the first-time dose needs a second one given 1 mo apart for ages 9 and under. 6 mo to 35 mo needs .25 ml, children 36 mo and older need .5 ml
when can you first get the flu vaccine?
6 mo but second dose is needed 1 mo after
what age is Dtap given up to?
under 7 years
what age should Hib be given up to?
not recommended for 5 and older.
who get the pneumovax PPSV23
immunocompromised, asplenia, diabetes at age 2m
AJ a 7 y/o is unvaccinated and needs to catch up which vaccines are not indicated?
Dtap, Hib, rotavirus, PCV
after 5 yrs Hib does not have efficacy as well as pneumococcal (Prevnar PCV13)
who should not get activated vaccines?
immunocompromised or those who live with people who are immunocompromised, pregnant women.
