argument
a reason or set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong.
bias
a prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another usually in a way that’s considered to be unfair. Biases may be held by an individual, group, or institution and can have negative or positive consequences.
claim
an assertion of the truth of something, typically one that is disputed or in doubt.
counterclaim
a claim made to rebut a previous claim.
evidence
the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.
objective
not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.
perspective
a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
point of view
a particular attitude or way of considering a matter.
position
a person’s point of view or attitude toward something.
purpose
the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
quote
mention or refer to (someone or something) to provide evidence or authority for a statement, argument, or opinion.
reason/reasoning
the action of thinking about something in a logical, sensible way.
relevant
appropriate to the current time, period, or circumstances; of contemporary interest.
source
a place, person, or thing from which something comes or can be obtained.
support
suggest the truth of; corroborate.
