A
- Get zero on one side of the inequality
- Solve the quadratic equation = 0 to find x intercepts
- Sketch the quadratic clearly labelling the x intercepts
- For > 0 the solutions are values of x where the graph is above the x axis
- For < 0 the solutions are values of x where the graph is below the x axis
