power vacuum when independent causes civil wars via power struggles encouraging corruption, raw materials taken away, past little done to develop other industries and education so more time needed to develop sills needed
If employment is high in informal economies
taxation levels are low, government spends less on investments
if a country relies on their exports
little control over limited income as global prices fluctuate
If a money must spend more on healthcare
Less money spend on developing an economy
Trade blocks propose tariffs on processed not raw
less incomes for LICs as higher value work is done elsewhere

wealth inequality, health inequality, international migration
Health inequality
lack of felicities to treat illnesses, and high poverty makes it difficult for many to find protections against
Wealth inequality e.g.
18% of population EU + America w 60% global wealth. 27% Africa + India w 2% global wealth. Controlling countries previously colonialism now enjoy advantages of previous exploits
