actions- depresses point of shoulder
Trapezius
actions- scapular elevation, depression, retraction & superior rotation of the lateral angle
Deltoid (C5-6)
actions- humeral flexion, medial rotation, abduction, extension & lateral rotation
Subscapularis
actions- stabilizes the glenohumeral joint, and medially rotates & adducts humerus
Supraspinatus
actions- initiates humeral abduction
Teres major
actions- humeral adduction & medial rotation
