Factors that affect conformity

Group shift
occurs when disscussion leads a group to adopt attitudes or actions that are more extreme than the inital attitudes or actions of the individual group member
Groupthink
People’s desire to maintain group loyalty becomes more important than making the best choices.

to measure the extent to which individuals would conform to a majority group.
