What is continuous training?
Develops aerobic power. It involves low intensity long duration activity without rest periods e.g. jogging, swimming or cycling.
What is Fartlek training?
Swedish for ‘Speedplay’

intervals of high intensity work which are followed by periods of rest
Circuit training
athlete performs a series of series of exercises at a set of stations.
Weight training
involves doing a series of resistance exercises through the use of free weights or fixed weight machines

PNF
Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation - advanced stretching technique
muscle contracts isometrically for at least 10 secs - it then rests and is stretched again usually further.
