How is Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis managed?
A
- Stop precipitating factor
- Supportive care, often in intensive care unit
- Intravenous immunoglobulin has been shown to be effective and is now commonly used first-line
- Other treatment options include: immunosuppressive agents (ciclosporin and cyclophosphamide), plasmapheresis
