They are arranged regularly. There are no spaces in between the particles.

They are arranged randomly. There are spaces in between the particles.
How is a gas particle model arranged?
The particles don’t touch each other. There are spaces between the particles.
They are arranged randomly but are spaced out.
What type of state is a ruler?
Solid
How does a solid turn into liquid and then a gas?
It melts to turn into liquid and then evaporates to turn into a gas.
How does a gas turn back into a solid?
It condenses to turn into a liquid and then freezes to turn into a solid.
What is diffusion?
The movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.
