thin actin and dark myosin (contrast) causing the look of stripes.

A
Funcutional unit of muscle.

A
During muscle contraction, Z- disc get closer together so distances reduces.

What is the function of T-tubes?
A
allows the membrane to extend into the sacromere so impulses can travel directly into sarcomere allowing all muscle fibres to contract at once.
