how does blood flow through the urinary system?
A
the kidneys receive blood from the renal artery, where they subsequently remove urea and water + mineral ions and it is returned to the circulation through the renal vein

how do waste materials move through the urinary system?
A
the wastes removed from the blood move from the kidney to the ureter, where it is eventually stored in the bladder. the wastes are eventually excreted in the form of urine when it moves from the bladder to the urethra out of the body

what is the function of the bladder?
A
stores urine temporarily

A
a duct that transports urine from the bladder to outside of the body
