It was these 3 men who decided the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. Some of those terms were
Article 231 said that Germany was to solely to blame for causing the First World War
The German army was limited to 100,000 men
Germany was not allowed to build any submarines or tanks, or have an air force
Germany had to pay reparations of £6.6 billion for damage caused during the war. Most of this went to France for their rebuilding program.
Germany lost all of its overseas colonies
The Germany was reduced to only six battleships
Germany had lots of wine taken from them, including two French provinces of Alsace and Lorraine which were returned to France
