What are the angels made of?
They are made of divine light called Nur.
How are angels different to humans?
Angels are different to humans as they do not have free will. They exist only to carry out the will of Allah. They are free of sin as they are completely obedient to Him. They are immortal and don’t have physical needs such as sleep/food, therefore are able to constantly serve Allah.
What is the purpose of angels on Earth?
It is through the angels that Allah communicates with His human messengers. They also record what each human does and says, ready for the Day of Judgement. They sometimes take on the form of humans in order to carry out the will of Allah.
