At Myrtle and Toms flat in New York there is a party
Nick gets drunk for the second time in his life
Chapter 3
Nick attends Gatsby’s party with an invite
Meet Owl Eyes in the library, who is surprised that the books are real
Nick meets Gatsby
Jordan has a long talk with Gatsby
Chapter 4
Nick and Gatsby have lunch in NYC with Meyer Wolfsheim
Hint that Gatsby did not achieve his wealth in a legal way
Jordan explains to Nick that Gatsby and Daisy were together 5 years before
Jordan asks Nick on Gatsby’s behalf to invite Daisy to lunch
Chapter 5
Gatsby and Daisy are reunited - PATHETIC FALLACY
Gatsby is nervous and knocks over Nicks clock etc
After being alone for a while they become comfortable
Nick, Daisy and Gatsby go to Gatsby’s mansion for a tour
Daisy gets upset and has a breakdown over Gatsby’s shirts because she realises what she could have had
Nick leaves them alone together
