What are the colours and what do they represent?
A
Purple-represents the time of preparation during Advent.
Gold/Yellow/White-this is for a time of celebration like Christmas Day or Easter.
Red-this is for a time of the Holy Spirit or to remember the death of a Martyr or saint.
Green-the colour of ordinary time.
