Who is Mary
Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ the son of God
What happened to her at the annunciation
She was visited by angel Gabriel and he told her that she was going to have God’s child and that he would be the messiah and would be forever eternal
What does her reaction show about her as a person.
She was brave and courageous person because she didn’t run from god but she stayed and trusted him and had baby Jesus
What happened at the birth of Jesus
Mary and Joseph rose on a donkey to Bethlehem to pay their taxes in their home town. Then Mary fell into labourer and the only place available was a stable. That’s where baby Jesus was born. The birth is Jesus was the incarnation of god himself
Why are these events important to Christians today
Hey are important they symbolise the beginning of gods time on the time on earth. They also show us that Mary was brave and this inspires us
