When is a range card made and how many?
Range card should me made as soon as you emplace the MG, 2 cards should be made: 1 for the MG and one for the Squad Leader.
Where is the MG placed during defense?
Where it protects the front, flanks and rear of occupied portions of defensive positions and where it’s mutually supporting and accomplishes specific missions.
What is max ordinate?
The highest point in the trajectory of the projectile usually occurs between 350-850 meters or during 2/3 of the path to the target.
What is the Final protective fire?
Immediately available prearranged barrier of fire to stop enemy movement across defensive lines or areas.
What is the Final Protective line?
A predetermined line along which grazing fire is placed to stop an enemy assault.
