Use rear fog lights when visibility is less than 100 metres, turn ignition on, turn on dipped headlights, then press rear fog light button. Check that there is a warning light on the dashboard to make sure its on. Switch them off once visibility has improved

Identify dipstick/oil level indicator, take out the dipstick, clean off the excess oil and then dip it back in and check if the oil level is between the minimum and maximum lines, if it is then there is sufficient oil
