Dyspnoea, cough, haemoptysis chest pain syncope palpitation ankle swelling fatigue cyanosis claudication

What is dyspnoea
A
Abnormal and uncomfortable awareness of breathing, - common in cardiac and respiratory and is often worse on exertion

What are some acute cardiac causes of dyspnoea
A
Myocardial ischaemia or infarction
Mitral regurgitation due to chordal rupture
Onset of AF in mitral or aortic valve disease

A
Left ventricular dysfunction
Mitral or aortic valve disease
