A small mass on the eyelid from inflammation and blockage of a meibomian (oil) gland
Floater
Small moving object in the field of vision originating as deposits within the vitreous body.

Inflammation of a sebaceous gland of the eyelid
Keratoconus
(ker-ah-to-KO-nus)
Conical (cone shaped) protrusion of the corneal center (transparent/dome-shaped eye cover)
Miosis
Abnormal contraction of the pupils
Mydriasis

Pronounced or over dilation of the pupil
Nyctalopia
(nik-tah-LO-pe-ah)
Night blindness. Often due to lack of vitamin A.
Nystagmus

Rapid, involuntary, rhythmic movements of the eyeball

Choked disk
Swelling of the optic disk (papilla)

A condition in which a cataractous lens have been removed + replaced with a plastic lens

Inflammation of the retina

(FLIK-ten-ule)
A small blister or nodule on the cornea or conjunctiva
Retinitis Pigmentosa
Atrophy of the optic nerve and clumping of pigment in the retina.
