Median furrow , located on midline. separates erector spinae muscles on either side.
L4 spine level: drawn between high points of iliac crests defines the level of the L4 vertebral spine.
S2 level of vertebral column, dimples on the lower back
superior end of natal cleft. superficial to sacral hiatus. landmark for epidurals
