Definition of SVT
Any narrow complex tachycardia characterised by HR of >100bpm and QRS width of <120ms on ECG
Management of patient with adverse features
Synchronised DC shock for patients with HF, ischaemia, shock or syncope
Management of stable patient
If regular rhythm use vagal manouvres, if irregular rhythm it is managed the same as an AF patient
What to do if vagal manouvre fails
Give 6mg IV adenosine
