Define genotype
The genetic constitution of an organism
It describes all the alleles an organism has

An organism that carries two copies of the same allele

An organism that carries two different alleles
Definite dominant
An allele whose characteristics appears in the phenotype even when there’s only one copy
Define recessive
An allele whose characteristics only appears in the phenotype if two copies are present
Define codominant
When two alleles contribute to the phenotype
What is a multiple alleles
A gene that has two or more possible versions
