-Everything drives towards this
-All objectives are strung together, through-line can be mapped for characters
Subtext is:
-Meaning beneath the text
-not spoken, interpreted by actor through gesture, posture, pauses or action
-clear relationship between subtexts & dialogue + subtext & objective
Imagination as a technique is:
-More fertile imagination
-more interesting choices made
The Physical apparatus is:
-Stan saw the body & voice as ‘instruments’ that can be trained
-Body: Improve posture, make supple & graceful movements
Magic if is:
-Aiming to create the appearance of reality - Realism
