skills. He has won a total of 20 men’s singles Grand Slam championships
which is the most in tennis history. With 97 career Singles titles, he holds the
record for the most number of Wimbledon Championships won with eight
titles.
Roger federer
Known as the ‘Golden Bear’, this professional golfer was a dominating figure
in the world of golf from the 1960s to the 1980s. By 1986 he had played in 100
major championships, finishing in the top three 45 times. He was named PGA
Player of the Year five times and was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in
1974.
Jack nick
Remembered as one of the greatest boxers to have ever lived, this American
professional boxer was the first fighter to win the world heavyweight
championship on three separate occasions and successfully defended this
title 19 times. In 1999, he was named ‘Sportsman of the Century’ by Sports
Illustrated magazine.
Muhammad Ali
Considered the greatest player in the history of basketball, he was fondly
known as ‘Air Jordan’. He steered his team, the Chicago Bulls, to win six
NBA championships (1991-1993 and 1996-1998) and holds a record of seven
consecutive NBA scoring titles from 1987 to 1993.
Micheal Jorden
This American swimmer is among some of the most famous athletes in
Olympic history with 28 medals, which includes a record 23 gold. At the
2008 Games in Beijing, he became the first athlete to win 8 gold medals at a
single Olympics. By playing at the 2016 Rio Olympics, he has become the first
American male swimmer to be a part of five Olympic teams.
Micheal Phelps
Known as ‘Sultan of Swat and Bambino’, this legendary professional baseball
player is one of America’s most celebrated athletes. Between 1915 and 1919 he
won 87 gmaes, including three World Series games, and set a record by pitching 29 2/3 consecutive shutout innings
