Alliteration
the repetition of the same sound occurring at the beginning of words close together in a line or series

Onomatopoeia
A word which imitates the natural sounds of a thing, like a sound effect.
Parallelism
The use of components in a sentence that are grammatically the same or similar in their construction sound, meaning, or meter
Antithesis
Two opposite ideas that are put together to achieve a contrasting effect
Ethos
A means of convincing others of the character or credibility of the persuader
Logos
A statement, sentence, or argument used to convince or persuade the targeted audience by implying reason or logic.
Pathos
a method of convincing people with an argument drawn through an emotional response
