Hand grip strength test.
Tests muscular strength in the hand .
Use a hand grip dynamometer. With your strongest hand, squeeze as tightly as possible. Take three recordings. Record the best score.
One minute press up test.
Test muscular endurance.
Get into a plank position but with your palms on the floor level with your shoulders and lower your body until your elbow makes a 90 degree angle.
One minute sit up test
Tests abdominal muscular endurance.
Perform each sit up with your knees bent and your hands on your ears. Sit up and touch your knees with your elbows.
30m sprint.
Tests a persons speed.
Mark out a 30m distance, when your partner signals you to start, run as fast as you can while your partner records your time.
Verticle jump/sargent jump test.
Tests leg power.
Put chalk on your fingertips. Then reach up as high as you can and touch the wall as high as you can. Bend your knees and jump, touching the wall at your highest point.
Norm (normative).
A pattern or a standard.
Quantitative.
Information about quantities, which can be measured.
Qualitative.
Information about qualities, which is difficult to measure.
Protocol.
Official procedure; set way to do something.
Sit and reach test.
Measure. the flexibility of the hamstrings and lower back muscles.w
Sit down with legs straight and feet against a bench set on its side. Measure how far beyond your toes you can reach.

Tests cardiovascular fitness and estimates VO2 max.
Harvard step test.
Test cardiovascular endurance.
Step on and off a 45cm bench every 2 seconds for five minutes.
